The Grand Bend Motorplex held its biggest racing event of the year July 18th to 20th , which draws tens of thousands to the area for the 3 day event and the only one of its kind in Ontario. Despite the rain delays, the racing was able to continue into the finals on Sunday. The Mopar Canadian Nationals was the 6th of 10 national events on the IHRA Nitro Jam series schedule.

 The biggest racing event of the year is coming to Grand Bend Motorplex July 18,19 and 20. The 9th annual Mopar Canadian Nationals which will feature nitro burning top fuel dragsters and funny cars that can reach speeds in excess of 300MPH, a super shockwave jet powered jet truck, with fireworks Saturday night after pro qualifying plus much more. Residents of South Huron and Lambton Shores save $20 off the regular price of

The McGuinty government is improving access to health services for Exeter-area residents by supporting renovations at the South Huron Hospital Association Emergency Department.

 Three De Havlland Chipmunk aircraft visited their former home RCAF Station Centralia May 9. It is hoped this historic event will be the basis for an annual NATO celebration in Huron Park.
